Spirit of God Community Church is a beacon of light in the community that promotes the plan of salvation, bridging the gap with love, while teaching others the necessity of repentance that leads to baptism and being filled with the Holy Spirit!
Pastor Esther D. Irick
Pastor Esther D. Irick was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in 1996 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost the following year (while attending the TM Youth Camp in Columbus, OH).
When you witness the preaching of Pastor Irick, you know she is anointed to preach the Gospel to nations. She boldly brings forth the Word of God to transform lives, and challenges you to a new level in your walk with Christ. Since coming to Christ over 20 years ago, she has been used mightily by God in her family, church, and throughout the body of Christ.
Pastor Irick is a teacher, servant, leader and intercessor. In 2000, she was called to ministry and has devoted her life to this calling through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God.
For over 15 years, she taught adult Sunday school and served on the care team ministry where she visited and ministered to the needs of the sick and shut-in. Pastor Irick is a prayer warrior; she served many years as the prayer leader where she led 24-hour and weekly prayer services at her previous churches (Antioch Temple Church of God in Christ and New Dimensions).
She is the Founder of the “Women of Substance Ministries” where she serves and encourages women from all walks of life through the Word of God, and by loving them unconditionally.
In 2016, Pastor Irick answered the pastoral call from God as she is now the proud Pastor of Spirit of God Community Church. The vision of this ministry is to be a vessel used by God to draw souls so that yokes will be broken, chains will be loosed, and souls will be set free.
As she fulfills the call of God, she is supported and encouraged by her loving family. Pastor Irick's greatest joy is spending time with her three children and 12 precious grandchildren.
